Écoute à long terme
Écoute pour co-création
Écoute pour le changement systémique
How would you describe your project to a six-year old child?
What we have been trying to do is tell a new story of the city so that people will start doing things differently.
What are you listening to?
We are listening to people who are suffering the most and people in situation of power.
We listen to the story that most people tell about the city, the values that they identify to the city.
We create a narrative that helps us understand what is happening.
Group meetings, community groups, organizing events, festivals, individual conversations.
We listen to the informal, asking people what they want to talk about. We structure the conversations, so that people answer what you want to listen to.
We ask what matters to them and they tell you what is important, what are the challenges in the city.
L’importance de l’écoute
Listening is important because there is no real impact without listening. Sometimes we think that listening is only the right thing to do, but in fact it is the most effective.
Listening is connecting with innovation. It gives you options that were not there at the beginning. When you are rellay listening you are considering all the options. You are exposed to things that are not coming from yourself.
